Unique Features:

Built in Thermometer & Sensor Adjustment:  The Alcologic in stand by mode displays the environmental temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit. However this is not the built in thermometers only function. Once the test function is activated there is a warm up period where the sensor adjusts itself to the optimum operating temperature regardless of environmental temperature. This maximises accuracy and keeps test results as consistent as possible.

Auto- Clean Function: At the beginning of each test the sensor chamber automatically cleans itself of dust particles or residual elements that may affect the test result. This unique and patented feature enhances the accuracy of the unit. Furthermore the Auto-clean function may be activated after a test is taken. This ensures a longer life of the sensor and prevents the sensor from being contaminated by residual alcohol. Performing this function after testing will ensure the unit can be used without calibration for longer periods.

Preset Alert Levels:

ALERT LEVEL	Between 0.08%  and 0.089% BAC	LCD reads “HI” flashes red, unit beeps 10 times	You have exceeded the critical limit of 0.08% BAC
EXCEED LEVEL	Above 0.089% BAC,unit will only read up to 0.015%	LCD reads “HI” flashes red and beeps for 20 seconds. A digital BAC reading is also shown	Alcohol BAC is is estimated to be extremely high exceeding 0.089%

Reverse Backlit Display & Real Time Clock: The only personal breathalyser with this kind of display. This is ideal when testing at night time or in dark areas. Unlike more basic breathalysers where merely the result lights up, the reverse back-lit display is necessary because of the number of functions on the unit performs on-screen. The real time clock shows the time in all formats and can be adjusted through the multi-directional interface.

Battery Indicator: Tells the user how much power is left. Essential so that the unit is not without power at important times.

Records previous 99 results:  Ideal for keeping track of previous results & getting to know how your body metabolises alcohol. The user can even add up previous results from consecutive tests and calculate their average BAC over a period of time.
